Graduated with Honours from NBCC Fredericton, NB – Business Administration-Accounting.

  • Class Valedictorian
  • courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Marketing, Writing, Business and Financial Math. I learned MS Office programs with concentrated studies on Excel. I also studied Business Law, Organizational Behaviour, Public Speaking and Presentation and Ethics.
  • Accounting courses– Financial accounting covered the accounting cycle in depth, receivables, liabilities, payroll, general journal, general and sub-ledgers and preparation of the financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, changes in equity and cash flows for sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations. Managerial accounting taught me the importance of cost allocation and the budgeting process. Intermediate accounting provided a more in-depth, theoretical foundation of accounting standards, both GAAP and IFRS. Finance emphasized the critical role that cash management plays in business success.  Payroll compliance focused on the legislation governing payroll in all jurisdictions of Canada. I am trained in the Sage 50 Accounting (formerly Simply Accounting) program is the computerized accounting system.

2015 – Bachelor of Arts (Sociology),  University of New Brunswick.
